Raccoon

The raccoon is a common animal found throughout all of Florida. It is an adaptable animal that can live in all kinds of habitat from hardwood forests to urban areas. The raccoon lives in cavities in trees or, in areas where trees are not available, in other spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and trash piles. The raccoon is most active at night and easily recognized by its black mask and ringed tail.
