Structure and Organization

Administration:

  • Four co-directors and an Associate Director with expertise in ecology, fire science, wildlife, recreation, biometrics and modeling, environomental education and economics and policy from the University of Florida's School of Forest Resources and Conservation and Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation
  • Science and outreach committees with representatives from steering commitee and member organizations

Three levels of membership:

  • Steering committee: > = 100,000 acres of forests OR any natural resource related organizations
  • Members: < = 100,100 acres of forests OR any natural resource related organizations
  • Supporting members: any small organizations such as municipalities, city land trusts, and small family forest land owners
