Our day consisted of a visit to Cikel, one of the largest logging companies in Brazil, and Tailandia, a municipality that is on the old logging frontier. Between stops we drove for hours through Cikel's property and along PA 150. By making this long drive we were able to see the extent of deforestation that has occurred, and is still occurring, in the eastern Amazon.
