Application process For MS Program

Basic admissions requirements:

  • An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • at least 3.0 upper division grade point average
  • total score of at least 1,000 on the combined Verbal and Quantitative portions of the GRE
  • satisfactory English language testing and verbal GRE score for non-US and Puerto Rican applicants.  Visit the UF graduate School international applicant website for more information: http://gradschool.ufl.edu/students/international-applicants.html.

Steps to Admission:

Find a major advisor in SFRC

Apply for admission to the University of Florida Office of Admissions

Send the following to the SFRC Student Services Office

The admission process takes time, so students MUST have ALL information submitted to the SFRC at least 3 months before the desired semester of admission.

Application process for Non-Degree Seeking Students

At least four weeks before the beginning of each semester a student wishes to enroll in a course, students should read the instructions at http://www.cals.ufl.edu/current_students/non_degree.shtml and then complete a non-degree seeking application form: https://www.isis.ufl.edu/cgi-bin/nirvana?MDASTRAN=RSI-NDAPB. The UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) will email the students after the application has been approved.
