I am interested in students that have the following attributes:
1) Self-starting and research oriented - you need to be willing to make your graduate work your own.
2) Quantitative - I generally require significant statistical rigor, and expect a high level of mathematical understanding.
3) Systems oriented - I am interested in connectivity and feedback between system components.
4) Flexible and Dedicated - Graduate school demands these.
