School of Forest Resources & Conservation

UF/IFAS

Christie Staudhammer joined the school in January 2005. Her research covers a broad range of topics, including mixed effects models in forestry, design and analysis of experimental data, quantifying size and structure distributional differences if forests, and quantifying model uncertainty. Her research aims to promote better forest conservation and management by developing a better understanding of the dynamics of forested systems, with projects involving tropical tree species, as well as urban forestry and managed southern pine.
