FBRC Membership Information

Full Membership

Full membership in the FBRC is open to all private and public organizations holding timberlands within the natural range of southern pine species. In addition to annual dues, full members provide in-kind support through breeding, test establishment, and data collection.

Full Members are entitled to:

  • Internal research reports, summaries and data
  • On-site field visits and technology transfer by UF scientists and staff as requested
  • Genetic material developed by the FBRC - subject to restrictions of tree improvement programs

Contributing Membership

Contributing membership in the FBRC is open to state agencies and product vendors. Contributing members pay a fraction of the dues of full members and are encouraged, but not required, to provide in-kind support through breeding, test establishment, and data collection.

Contributing members are entitled to:

  • Internal annual reports
  • On-site field visits and technology transfer by UF scientists and staff as requested

Contributing members do not have voting rights or access to genetic material, genetic identities, or raw data.
