Foundation (SHARE) Accounts

Faculty Foundation or SHARE subaccounts may be established when gifts are received. A new fund may be established for any purpose which is within the Foundation’s mandate to further the mission of the University of Florida. The Foundation cannot establish funds for programs or purposes that:

  • involve contract deliverables, fees-for-services, proprietary research or drug protocols, services within the mission of the Division of Continuing Education (DOCE), or sales of merchandise;
  • would jeopardize the Foundation’s tax-exempt status.



After gifts are deposited, the monies can only be spent once they have been transferred to a PeopleSoft account. Please allow two weeks for this transfer. You will be notified when the transfer is complete.

In order to process reimbursements from SHARE accounts, you must supply the original SIGNED receipt, the business purpose and benefit to UF, and a list of attendees (if applicable).
