Admissions

Students may enter this program either as a freshman or a transfer student. Admission as a freshman is extremely competitive. Students may enter as a transfer student after completing 60 or more credit hours from a community college, junior college, or other 4-year university. An Associate of Arts degree from a Florida institution is preferred, as it will satisfy all of UF’s general education requirements. Admissions into the program will be based on your performance in the courses listed in the GEM Admissions Guide.
