Josh Horn

Education: Bachelor's in Biology, Thomas More College, USA

Research Title: Temporal carbon dynamics and vegetative management of the urban forest in east Orlando, Florida, USA

Research Description: Determine the net carbon balance of urban trees by quantifying changes in carbon storage and sequestration and emissions due to direct management of urban trees.

Research Interests: Urban ecology, restoration ecology, watershed managment, GIS and computer modeling, ecosystem services and disservices

Ronald Cademus

Education: Bachelor in Forest Engineering, Universidad ISA, Domnican Republican

Research Title: Evalution of the trade-offs between water yield and carbon sequestration in the Orange Creek Basin using a GIS-based model.

Reserach Description: Determine spatially-explicit relationship between carbon sequestration and water yield and quantify the trade-offs that may exist between tehm within forest plantations in a watershed.

Reserach Interests: Forest Ecosystem Services and GIS
