Purpose: To promote exchanges
of ideas among students and faculty participating in the Working Forests in the
Tropics program.
Approach: This is primarily a
discussion group that will consider cutting edge issues, and provide critique
and feedback on research plans and progress. Faculty and students will catalyze the discussions with reports on group
projects, field courses, summer research, research proposals, and provocative
conceptual ideas.
Participation: All faculty
and graduate students are welcome to attend any or all meetings. Academic credit is not given for seminar
participation.
